Summer Sound 2026: Baltic’s Biggest Music Festival Announces First Artists and Trader Applications

Liepāja, Latvia, is gearing up to host the 14th annual Summer Sound festival from July 31 to August 2, 2026. The Baltic region’s largest music festival has announced its initial lineup, featuring international stars and local favorites, and is now accepting applications from traders.

Lineup Highlights

Headlining the festival will be Alan Walker, a Norwegian electronic music producer and DJ known for the 2015 hit “Faded.” Joining him is the energetic American gipsy punk band, Gogol Bordello. The festival will also showcase popular Latvian artists, including Bermudu Divstūris, Singapūras Satīns, and hip-hop artist ansis. The full festival program is expected to be released soon.

Trader Applications Now Open

Festival organizers are inviting applications from caterers, craftsmen, and other traders to participate in the Summer Sound marketplace. The trade area is designed to offer a diverse range of food, unique local products, and services like piercing and tattooing.

“We want the shopping area to be a place where festival visitors can enjoy a high-quality and wide offer, while giving traders the opportunity to reach one of the largest audiences of the summer,” said Summer Sound 2026 organizer Uldis Pabērzis.

Interested traders can find the rules and application form at www.summersound.lv/tirgotajiem. The application deadline is May 22, 2026, with participant confirmations planned for June 12, 2026.
