Suns’ Allen, O’Neale Questionable for Game Against Spurs

SAN ANTONIO – The Phoenix Suns may be without key players Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale when they face the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, March 19, at the Frost Bank Center. Both players are listed as questionable due to left knee soreness.

Suns Look to Break Road Losing Streak

The Suns (39-30) are looking to end a three-game road slide against the Spurs (51-18). Phoenix holds a 2-1 record against San Antonio this season, having lost the most recent matchup 121-94 on February 20 in Austin.

Player Updates

Royce O’Neale has played in every game this season, his third with the Suns. He is currently averaging a career-high 9.9 points and shooting 40.3% from three-point range. In the Suns’ March 17 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, O’Neale scored nine points, shooting 3-of-6 from beyond the arc.

Grayson Allen missed Tuesday’s game after an awkward fall during a drive to the basket late in the first quarter of the March 16 game against the Boston Celtics. He continued to play in the first quarter but sat out the entire second half of the 120-112 loss.

Other Injury News

Dillon Brooks (left hand fracture) and Mark Williams (left foot third metatarsal stress reaction) remain out but are traveling with the team.

Spurs Injury Report

The San Antonio Spurs will be without David Jones Garcia (ankle) for the remainder of the season. Devin Vassell is listed as day-to-day with an ankle injury. Fox Sports reports Grayson Allen (knee) is also day to day.
