The crash occurred on Georgia Avenue in Naples Manor when a father accidentally drove his SUV into the wall of his family’s home even as attempting to park, as reported by Gulf Coast News Now. The impact caused visible damage to the home’s exterior wall, with debris scattered in the driveway.
Homeowner Maria Tobia described the frightening moment, stating, “We went into the house, the window fell down, the wall collapsed,” but expressed relief that she and her husband were unharmed. “Thank God we are both okay. He is fine and I am too.”
Neighbors were startled by the incident. Joahan Lovecadet, whose mother lives next door, learned about the crash through social media and went to check on the family. “That was too close to home, so I had to go check on my people the next day,” Lovecadet said. “I saw it and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s the neighbors.’”
