Suzuki has introduced a new color option for the Burgman Street 125 scooter in India, expanding consumer choices without altering the scooter’s core specifications. This update comes as Suzuki continues to refine its maxi-scooter offerings in a competitive market.
New Color Option: Pearl Grace White
The newly available color, Pearl Grace White, joins the existing Metallic Royal Bronze and Metallic Matte Black options for the Burgman Street EX. This addition provides a fresher, more elegant aesthetic for potential buyers.
Performance and Engine Specifications
The Burgman Street EX retains its 124cc, single-cylinder engine, producing 8.6 PS (8.4 hp) at 6,500 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Autocar India notes that this engine is shared with the Access and Avenis models.
Suzuki’s Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-α) technology, combined with a fuel injection system, aims to balance performance, fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions. The scooter similarly features Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) technology, which automatically shuts off the engine when stopped and restarts it upon throttle activation, enhancing fuel economy in traffic conditions.
Key Features and Technology
The Burgman Street EX includes the Suzuki Easy Start System, allowing for one-touch engine starting, and a Silent Starter system for smoother, quieter operation. It also boasts a digital LCD instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity via Suzuki Ride Connect, providing call/notification alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. In the Indian market, the Burgman Street EX is priced at approximately 107,902 rupees, equivalent to around 19 million Indonesian Rupiah. Suzuki Motorcycle India offers the scooter in three variants: Standard, Ride Connect, and EX, with pricing ranging from Rs. 93,676 to Rs. 1,07,902.
