As subscription prices climb across the streaming market, wireless carriers are increasingly bundling services like Netflix and Hulu directly into phone bills to capture consumers, variety.com reported. Major providers now offer dedicated entertainment packages that range from complimentary access on top-tier plans to modular, customizable add-on tiers.
T-Mobile makes a strong case for consolidating monthly bills by offering Netflix and Hulu at no additional cost on its top-tier Experience Beyond 2.0 plan, according to variety.com. The carrier’s Netflix On Us benefit provides Netflix Standard with ads, while the Experience Beyond 2.0 plan also includes Hulu With Ads, giving subscribers access to next-day programming from FX and ABC, along with a library of television and movies. Experience Beyond 2.0 starts at $100 per month for a single line with AutoPay, before taxes and fees, and includes unlimited talk, text, and 5G data alongside 250GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data, variety.com reported. For customers seeking a lower price point, the Experience More 2.0 plan starts at $85 per month with AutoPay and includes Netflix Standard with ads, but leaves out complimentary Hulu access. Both plans allow subscribers to add Apple TV for an additional $3 per month to watch series like “Severance” and “Ted Lasso.”
Beyond standard carrier perks, T-Mobile provides additional entertainment discounts through its T-Mobile Tuesdays program, which features regular deals on movie tickets and dining, variety.com noted. T-Mobile has introduced a T-Mix service allowing subscribers to customize curated perks across streaming services, Xbox Game Pass, DoorDash, and Delta SkyMiles, with the option to swap selections every three months.
