Mini LED with 5184 Dimming Zones

The TCL C9K uses QD-Mini LED and Quantum Dot technology. this creates a picture quality close to OLED, but brighter and without the risk of screen burn-in. The TV has 5184 local dimming zones, which means very precise control of the backlight. Blacks are incredibly dark, and you’ll barely notice any blooming (a bright glow around objects on a dark screen).

One reddit user who switched from an LG OLED CX saeid: “Blacks are really good on this TV compared to OLED. Amazing colour reproduction. And the brightness! OMG.” TCL says the TV has a native contrast of 7000:1 thanks to it’s HVA panel. This panel also reduces glare and provides wide viewing angles.
