TCU Women’s Golf Finishes 12th at Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational
FORT WORTH – TCU concluded play in the 54-hole Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday at Colonial Country Club, tying for 12th at 47 strokes over par (887). The Horned Frogs carded a 16-over 296 in the final round.
Angosta Leads the Frogs
Kirstin Angosta notched her third straight top-25 finish and fourth of the 2025-26 campaign to headline TCU’s individual efforts. She shot a one-under 69 in round three, her low round of the tournament, finishing at 5-over (215). Angosta recorded eight birdies throughout the tournament, tied for the ninth-most of any competitor.
Tournament Overview
The tournament featured a highly competitive field, showcasing leading contenders for the NCAA team and individual championships. Six of the nation’s top-10 teams and nine ranked within the top-25 participated. The individual field included 14 top-50 world amateurs, including TCU’s Camille Min-Gaultier.
Stanford and Romero Claim Titles
Top-ranked Stanford repeated as team champions with an eight-over 848. Oregon’s Kiara Romero, the world amateur No. 1, won the individual medal at five-under (205), a five-stroke victory.
TCU Individual Results
Gracie McGovern and Camille Min-Gaultier tied for 46th and 59th, respectively, after shooting a 76 in round three. Sofia Barroso Sá increased her career birdies tally to 363, putting her 27 shy of becoming TCU’s career record holder. TCU’s 26 birdies collectively were the sixth-most of any team.
