TDK to Title Sponsor 2026 Tokyo E-Prix, Expanding Formula E Partnership
Tokyo, Japan – February 17, 2026 – TDK Corporation will serve as the title partner of the Formula E Tokyo E-Prix, marking the first-ever night race to be held in the Japanese capital on July 25 and 26. The event will be officially named the “2026 TDK Tokyo E-Prix,” reinforcing TDK’s commitment to the automotive sector, mobility, vehicle electrification, and intelligence.
Expanding Partnership with Porsche Formula E Team
This announcement builds upon TDK’s existing relationship with Porsche Motorsport, initiated in October 2025, where TDK became the Official Technology Partner of both the Porsche Formula E Team and the Porsche Coanda Esports Racing Team. This collaboration aims to leverage TDK’s technologies to enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of the Porsche 99X Electric race car and its successor, as well as the Esports simulator.
