Team Army Announces Roster for 2026 Warrior Games in San Antonio
FALLS CHURCH, Va. – March 18, 2026 – The Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP) has announced the 40 Soldiers and veterans selected to represent Team Army at the 2026 Warrior Games, taking place in San Antonio, Texas, from June 13-20. The games, hosted by the U.S. Army’s Transformation and Training Command, will bring together approximately 200 service members and qualifying veterans in a Paralympic-style adaptive sports competition.
Fostering Resilience and Camaraderie
The Warrior Games are designed to foster camaraderie and highlight the resilience of wounded, ill, and injured service members. Through adaptive sporting events, competitors demonstrate their ability to recover, adapt, and overcome challenges, embodying the Warrior Ethos. The competition reflects the Army’s commitment to readiness and recovery through adaptive sports.
About the Warrior Games
Established in 2010, the Warrior Games is an annual national event celebrating the valor, recovery, and resilience of wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans. Participants from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, and Special Operations Command will compete in eleven adaptive sports, including:

The Army Recovery Care Program
The Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP) manages recovery and complex care for wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers across all Army components. Since its inception, over 90,000 soldiers have participated in the program. ARCP utilizes a Comprehensive Recovery Plan, working with dedicated teams at Soldier Recovery Units to facilitate healing, recovery, and successful transitions back to duty or veteran status.
