COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech women’s basketball team is set for an extended stay at home, playing all of its December games within the Hooper Eblen Center. This provides a important advantage for the Golden Eagles, allowing them to capitalize on familiar surroundings and fan support.
Opening the Homestand: vs. Lipscomb
Tennessee Tech (4-2) kicks off this homestand on Monday night, hosting Lipscomb at 6 PM. Fans can catch the game live on ESPN+ (subscription required), with Dylan Vazzano, Frank Harrell, and Ella Fox providing commentary. Local radio listeners can tune into 106.1 The eagle, where Noah McKay and Jacob Vinson will be calling the action.
education Day and Beyond: A Full December Schedule
The Golden Eagles’ schedule doesn’t slow down after the Lipscomb game. They will host Samford on Thursday for their annual Education Day game,tipping off at 11 AM. This event is designed to engage local students and introduce them to college basketball. A nine-day break follows, before Tech resumes play at home on December 16th.
