Tennessee Tech Defeats Tennessee State in Close Contest

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles secured a 68-61 victory over the Tennessee State Lady Tigers in a tightly contested matchup on Saturday. Despite a strong performance from TSU’s Xai Whitfield, tech’s balanced scoring and efficient free-throw shooting proved to be the difference.

The Golden Eagles were led by a team-high 17 points from Kalia Davis, while Jordan Brock added 14 points and seven rebounds. tech’s offence benefited from hitting 8 of 17 three-pointers, compared to TSU’s 4 of 15.
