Police allege the accused “set upon” the 17-year-old in an unprovoked attack, according to a forensic evidence submission presented in court.
The court also heard the 15-year-old told officers, “I just stabbed another boy in the leg” when he arrived at the police station.
Witnesses reported seeing a person wearing a balaclava flee the scene instantly after the stabbing.
The case returns to court in January.
