Her late-round surge included birdies on holes 7 and 8, which marked the 16th and 17th holes of the day in her round. With this performance, O’Keefe moves into a tie for second place in Texas women’s golf history for career victories, matching Sherri Steinhauer, who played for the program from 1981 to 1985. O’Keefe is also the second Longhorn to win medalist honors at the tournament, following Lauren Kim’s victory in 2023.

Wake Forest claimed the top seed in stroke play after posting a team score of 6-under par, according to University of Texas Athletics.
