Texas Authorities Charge Man in Ángela Díaz Homicide

Houston, Texas – After a year-long investigation, Justin Scarbrough, 39, has been formally charged with the murder of Ángela Marisol Díaz, 22. Díaz was reported missing in 2024, and her remains were discovered in east Houston in March 2025. Scarbrough faces charges of murder and tampering with evidence in the 337th Criminal District Court of Harris County Univision.

Discovery of Remains and Identification
