Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried’s psychological thriller, The Housemaid, captivated audiences in theaters and is now making its way to streaming platforms. The release will occur at 12 a.m. ET / 9 p.m. PT (previous day) on the Starz app and all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms. Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home began offering the film for digital purchase or rental in February 2026.

A sequel to The Housemaid is already in development with Lionsgate. Paul Feig and Sydney Sweeney are set to return for the follow-up, which will adapt Freida McFadden’s subsequent novel, The Housemaid’s Secret. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the sequel’s progression in February 2026.
