‘De Mol’ 2026: Meet the New Candidates
The 14th season of the popular Belgian reality present ‘De Mol’ is set to premiere soon, and the ten candidates vying to uncover the traitor among them have been revealed. Presented by Gilles De Coster, the new contestants bring a diverse range of backgrounds and personalities to the game.
Who are the Candidates?
- Abigail (33) from Lommel: Described as a “world citizen,” Abigail has lived in Ghana and Shanghai before returning to her native Limburg with her husband and two children. She works as a team leader in childcare, making her accustomed to managing chaos.
- Dries (30) from Boortmeerbeek: An IT manager by day, Dries is also known for his snoring – so much so that he brought earplugs for all his fellow candidates. He resides in Boortmeerbeek with his girlfriend.
- Isabel (51) from Westmalle: A resident of Westmalle, Isabel shares her home with three children and five cats.
- Julie: A marketeer in the pharmaceutical sector from Kapellen, Julie is known for her strong Antwerp accent and describes herself as “loud and enthusiastic.” Remarkably, she claims to be a supporter of both Beerschot and Antwerp football clubs. Source
A Divided Fanbase
Julie’s dual allegiance to rival football clubs, Beerschot and Antwerp, has already sparked conversation. In a recent incident, a former contestant alluded to this rivalry while speaking with host Gilles De Coster, a known Beerschot supporter. Source
More to Come
The remaining six candidates – Kristof, Wout, Karla, and others – promise to add further intrigue to this season of ‘De Mol’. As the game unfolds, viewers will be watching closely to see who can successfully identify the mole and claim the prize.
