For over 20 years, ex-Prince Andrew (65), now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has lived at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
But in October it became known that the 65-year-old was to be thrown out of the luxury home. It came as a result of his links to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Have moved out
At the beginning of February, he moved into a residence on the private Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Now several of the local population have spoken to the British media about what they think about having Andrew as a neighbour.

To British The Mirror several residents of King’s Lynn, just a short drive from the Sandringham estate, have expressed displeasure over Andrew’s move.
– We love Sandringham, we don’t care who is there, but I think he should go into exile and spare us all this misery, says Angela, whom the newspaper met at the train station in the town.

Local Chris Thompson also expresses doubts about the move, saying he doesn’t think Andrew’s arrival is a “particularly good idea”
– I’d like to think King Charles is helping him with the bills, but it’s pretty sad out there. I don’t really think there will be much for him to do.

Breaking the silence
Visitor at Sandringham, Abraham Bruin, says he is “a little speechless” at the situation.
– If he’s an outcast and lives on the property, then he’s not an outcast, is he? he says to the Press Association, reproduced by BBC.

Hello Magazine has been in contact with the owner of the neighboring pub, The Black Horse Inn, who tells about how the atmosphere in the village has been since the ex-prince’s arrival.
– It’s 50/50. Some are horrified by his alleged behavior, but others say he has not been convicted and is innocent until proven guilty. I sit somewhere in the middle, says the pub owner.

The magazine writes that the pub is a short distance from St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, where the royal family gathers every year for Christmas service.
– We get some royals visiting, since we are so close to Sandringham and the big church next door. Prince Edward will come in, but I can’t imagine Andrew coming in as the situation is now, says the pub owner.

The ex-prince has temporarily moved into Wood Farm Cottage, while his new permanent home Marsh Farm is being renovated.
Andrew’s new home is being privately financed by his big brother King Charles (77).
