The Offspring guitarist Noodles has stepped away from the band’s upcoming tour dates to address a sudden and serious medical issue, Novinky reported. The musician announced his temporary departure from the stage, noting that his bandmates are fully supporting him while he recovers.

The announcement arrives just days after Noodles performed with The Offspring last Sunday at the Mission Bayfest festival in San Diego, California. The punk rock group, formed in California in 1984 under the original name Manic Subsidal, emerged alongside bands like Green Day, Bad Religion, and Rancid to revive mainstream interest in punk rock during the 1990s.

The Offspring Schedule Performances Across Major Venues and Festivals

The Offspring maintain a busy schedule despite the guitarist’s medical leave, with performances booked across several major venues and festivals. The band is set to take the stage on Saturday, October 24, at the Rock 2 Freedom benefit event at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, followed by a November 6 appearance at the SEMA Fest in Las Vegas.

Additional performances include the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City on November 21 and an appearance at iHeartRadio’s ALTer Ego 2027 event on January 16, 2027. During Noodles’ absence, the remaining members—frontman and guitarist Dexter Holland, bassist Todd Morse, drummer Brandon Pertzborn, and multiinstrumentalist Jonah Nimoy—will continue touring.

Noodles expressed gratitude to fans for their support in his statement regarding his health. “I hope to return to the stage as soon as possible,” Noodles stated, adding that he will miss everyone until he rejoins the group.

Throughout their four-decade history, The Offspring have released ten studio albums and sold more than 40 million records worldwide. The group’s current lineup moves forward with their scheduled dates while Noodles focuses on his recovery.
