The funds raised will also aid her attend college this summer, where she plans to study psychology and become a psychiatrist. “So I’m going to college to be a psychiatrist. I feel like I want to be a psychiatrist due to life experiences, the stuff I’ve been through, so I just want to help people with their mental health,” Scott said.

A Source of Inspiration and Empowerment

Alysia’s mother, Elizabeth Thomas, expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support, noting that it has been “life-changing” and is “uplifting her to retain pushing, to keep going.” Alysia herself says the support has given her confidence, purpose, and a platform to inspire others.
