The dish originated in the Ruhr area and consists of fries with sauce and mayonnaise, currywurst, combined with gyros, onions, and tzatziki [1].

In Braunschweig, the Plaka snack bar at Zuckerbergweg 23 offers the Taxi Teller for 12 euros. However, it includes a one-piece currywurst, which differs from the traditional preparation [4].

Following the “original” Ruhr area style, the “Gyros Grill” on Hansestrasse serves the Taxi Teller with the currywurst already cut into small pieces, similar to fried curry, for 14.50 euros.
