A clip shared on X (formerly Twitter) showed Storm laid out in her locker room with Mina Shirakawa attending to her, even as Luther appeared distressed as Renee Paquette arrived at the scene. Cageside Seats reported the incident.
AEW announced that Storm was not cleared to compete following her match against Shafir at the Revolution pay-per-view. The backstage attack was not initially referenced during the broadcast but was later addressed. Fightful provided details on the sequence of events.

Mina Shirakawa was swiftly announced as Storm’s replacement in the match against Marina Shafir. Shirakawa ultimately defeated Shafir with the Storm Zero piledriver.
