Volatus Aerospace Expands Autonomous Platforms and Manufacturing

Volatus Aerospace is transitioning from a hardware supplier into a complete mission-system provider through proprietary platforms like its V-Cortex autonomy system, AI-powered flight controls, and the SKYDRA SaaS solution, according to company reports. The Canadian firm is scaling its production capacity at its facility in Mirabel, Quebec, establishing an industrial-scale manufacturing hub within North American aerospace supply chains. Alongside manufacturing growth, Volatus secured regulatory approval for its Canary drone system under Canada’s new framework for beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) autonomous flights. The company also partnered with Concordia University’s Volt-Age research program in Montreal to develop high-performance energy technologies for unmanned aerial systems. Trading around 0.50 CAD with a market capitalization of approximately 350 Mio. CAD, the company operates within a global unmanned systems market experiencing double-digit annual growth rates, driven heavily by government defense budgets and NATO partnerships.

Palantir Faces Valuation Scrutiny Ahead of Q2-Earnings

Palantir has established its software platforms as a core component for modern military operations and commercial data analytics, creating substantial barriers to entry due to high customer integration costs. According to market data, the company’s stock has retreated since the beginning of the year amid broader tech sector volatility and rising valuations, with a 2027 price-to-earnings ratio standing at 67. Trading at a share price of 123 USD, the company maintains a market capitalization of 295 billion USD. Investors are closely monitoring upcoming second-quarter financial results, as recent quarterly reporting cycles across the technology sector have triggered sharp share price movements in both directions.

Schaeffler Lowers Mid-Term Targets Amid Automotive Restructuring

German industrial manufacturer Schaeffler reduced its mid-term targets and 2028 revenue projections, triggering a decline in its share price down to roughly 7 EUR. The company is actively shifting its business model away from traditional automotive supply toward electric mobility, industrial automation, and robotics, leveraging its precision bearings, sensor technology, and drive systems. As part of this diversification strategy, Schaeffler entered the drone manufacturing sector through a partnership with French drone maker Delair to produce multirotor drones. Company leadership aims for defense, robotics, and aerospace applications to account for roughly 10 % of total revenue by 2035. Morgan and Jefferies issuing targets of 10 EUR and 10.45 EUR respectively.
