Set in 2012, the title casts players as a daytime DVD store operator who moonlights as a tactical operative, utilizing Max Payne-style bullet time mechanics and gun fu combat across an approximately six-hour opening act.

Blackwood: Act One Gameplay and Early Release Adjustments

The developer issued a day-one patch to address initial launch feedback regarding technical performance, aiming to introduce features such as an autosave function before the release of Act Two. Additional side missions are also in development to expand the title’s scope.

Rig Riot Mech Action and Development Goals

Solo developer Sage Boatman created the third-person roguelike mech shooter Rig Riot after finding inspiration in FromSoftware’s Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, as reported by Cpstesters. Rounding out recent indie platform releases, the psychological horror title Lily’s World XD debuted on Steam for Windows, published by Kwalee and developed by SonderingEmily, according to Cpstesters. The game launched with a standard price of $12 alongside a 20 percent introductory discount extending through September 24.
