Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Scotland international full-back Andy Robertson from Liverpool, though no official announcement has been made.

The 32-year-old defender, who has 92 caps for Scotland and is set to lead his country at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, played his final match for Liverpool against Brentford on May 12, 2024, after confirming his departure when his contract expires this summer.

While details of the deal remain unconfirmed, sources indicate a principle agreement is in place. However, Liverpool had previously pulled a transfer for Robertson in January after failing to recall Kostas Tsimikas from his loan at Roma, according to Sky Sports.

Tottenham, currently managed by Ange Postecoglou, have been seeking defensive reinforcements following a challenging 2023-24 Premier League campaign. The club secured survival in the final match of the season with a 2-1 victory over Everton, as reported by BBC Sport.

Robertson, a two-time Premier League champion and 2019 UEFA Champions League winner with Liverpool, has made 378 appearances for the Reds since joining from Bayern Munich in 2017. His potential move to Tottenham would mark a significant shift in his career, though no formal terms have been disclosed.
