Tractor Zoom is hosting a free live Zoom webinar on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. CT to examine the macroeconomic forces, trade factors, and upcoming elections that will determine equipment demand and loan repayment capabilities for farmers heading into 2027. Titled “Finishing 2026 Strong: What the market, the election, and farm income mean for you,” the session is designed to help equipment dealers and agricultural lenders evaluate credit risk and buyer behavior before the year concludes.
Webinar Experts and Core Discussion Topics
The online event features Andy Campbell, Director of Insights at Tractor Zoom, alongside guest expert Wesley Davis, Partner and Chief Ag Economist at Meridian Ag Advisors. Campbell and Davis will analyze whether current farm income figures will hold, the extent to which producers rely on government support, and whether agricultural operators will maintain sufficient liquidity to purchase machinery and service existing debt obligations.
The discussion will address broader economic pressures, including ongoing trade dynamics such as China resuming soybean purchases, shifting political support influenced by an unfinished Farm Bill, and farmland values that are holding despite declining overall farm income.

Target Audience and Dealer Strategy
The program targets specific segments of the agricultural economy, including dealer principals, owners, leadership teams, sales and used-equipment managers, and agricultural lenders such as chief credit officers, bank presidents, and CFOs.
“This has been a challenging market, but it isn’t hopeless nor is it simple,” Campbell stated. “The biggest risk is standing still while the rest of the game is shifting. We want dealers and lenders to leave with a clear read on what’s moving the market now and into next year, so they can make trade, capital, and credit decisions for 2027 with confidence.”
Tractor Zoom Uses Equipment Sales Data for Intelligence
Participants can register online and engage directly during the broadcast through live polls and a dedicated question-and-answer segment with Campbell and Davis. The organizing platform, Tractor Zoom, maintains a database covering more than $75 billion in equipment sales derived from over 73% of used equipment suppliers across the United States, providing underlying market intelligence for its valuation and dealership tools.
Farmland values remain resilient even as farm income is down but still above long-run averages, leaving financial institutions and machinery dealers closely monitoring year-end cash flow metrics.
