Trinity Beth: From High School Dominance to Collegiate Success at Georgia

Trinity Beth, a name synonymous with Kentucky high school golf excellence, is making waves in the collegiate ranks at the University of Georgia. After a decorated junior career marked by multiple state championships, Beth is seamlessly transitioning to the next level, quickly becoming a key contributor for the Bulldogs.

Early Success and High School Legacy

Beth’s golfing journey began with immediate impact. As a seventh and eighth grader, she contributed to Marshall County High School’s Kentucky state championship victories. She further cemented her legacy by winning medalist honors at the state tournament twice during her high school career. Her consistent performance earned her the title of Kentucky’s Miss Golf four times.

Transition to Georgia and Immediate Impact

Despite graduating early to join the Georgia women’s golf team in January, Beth quickly adapted to the demands of collegiate competition. She expressed initial concerns about joining a team mid-year, but her teammates fostered a welcoming environment. “I live with three of the other girls on the team, so that’s four of us together, which is half the team right there. I experience like that was great, being able to live with them, and we’ve all become really close already,” Beth said.

In her first collegiate tournament, the FAU Paradise Invitational, Beth showcased her potential with a 3-over 75 in her opening round, followed by consecutive rounds of 1-under 71 and 70. She has continued to excel, recording under-par rounds in seven of her nine tournaments played for Georgia, and is cumulatively 3-under par with an eagle and 29 birdies.

Recognition and Praise from Coach Brennan

Beth’s impressive start has not gone unnoticed. She has already earned an SEC Freshman of the Week honor, and her coach, Erika Brennan, is highly impressed. “It’s like nobody told her she’s a freshman,” Brennan said. “She has hit the ground running. It’s funny, some people just fit in so completely and so effortlessly, and that’s how she’s been with plugging into our team culture and what we’re trying to do.”

Brennan as well highlighted Beth’s strong work ethic and maturity. “She is not afraid to lock in and focus, and get her work done,” Brennan added. “I think that so many times, our student-athletes think that they have to be robotic to be successful. And what I love about her is she’s figured out that she can play Trinity golf, and that Trinity golf is really, really good.”

Junior Career Highlight: 2025 Granny Junior Invitational Victory

Beth concluded her junior golf career on a high note, winning the 2025 Granny Junior Invitational at Richland Country Club in Nashville, Tennessee. She finished with a 6-under par score over three rounds, four strokes ahead of the runner-up. The tournament held special significance as it was close to her home. “Nashville is only about two hours from where I live, so it kind of felt like a home tournament. I just really love that event, and being able to win and finish my junior career on that high of a note, that was really special.”

Future Outlook

While Beth is yet to secure an individual tournament win at the collegiate level – her best finish to date is ninth at the Daris Rucker Intercollegiate – she continues to improve and contribute to the Georgia Bulldogs’ success. Teammates Sydney Givens and Maria Garcia have both secured individual victories for Georgia, demonstrating the team’s overall strength. The Bulldogs continued their season at the Briars Creek Invitational in Kiawah Island, S.C.
