Mirae Company‘s revoai Surgical Robot Performs First Surgery in Tunisia

Mirae Company announced on november 21,2025,that the Robotic Surgery Center at Charles Nicol Hospital in Tunisia,utilizing its surgical robot Revoai,successfully completed its first robotic surgery.

The Charles nicol Hospital Robotic Surgery Center held its opening ceremony on November 11th (local time). Attendees included Kim Jun-gu, CEO of Mirae Company, company officials, Tunisian Minister of Health Mustafa Farzani, Korean Ambassador to Tunisia Itaewon, and key government officials from both countries.

During the event, Tunisian Health Minister Mustafa Farzani stated, “The opening of this robotic surgery center represents a notable advancement for Tunisia’s medical system. I anticipate that,beginning with the introduction of Revoai,we will foster an exchange of not only robotic surgery techniques but also various advanced medical technologies from Korea.”

Kim Jun-gu, CEO of Mirae Company, remarked, “We view the introduction of Revoai in Tunisia, a leading medical nation in North Africa, as particularly significant.” He added, “With the launch of this robotic surgery center, we aim to broaden collaborations with medical professionals in Tunisia, North Africa, and surrounding regions to establish a robust robotic surgery program and expand our reach throughout Africa.”
