Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton and his longtime partner, Jade Jones, have officially married. The couple confirmed the news via social media on Tuesday, opting for a private courthouse ceremony before a larger celebration planned for August.
Minimalist Vows in Indianapolis
The ceremony took place at an Indianapolis courthouse, surrounded by a small group of family and friends. Jones shared the news on Instagram with a simple, direct caption: “It’s (courthouse) official.”
The couple embraced a minimalist aesthetic for the occasion. Haliburton wore an all-black ensemble accented by black Puma Suede Classic sneakers. Jones chose a white dress, paired with white heels and a bouquet of white flowers.
Seven Years of History
This union solidifies a seven-year partnership that began on the campus of Iowa State University. Their story started when Haliburton was a standout for the Cyclones and Jones was a member of the school’s cheerleading team. The transition from college sweethearts to spouses follows a July 28, 2023, proposal at Hilton Coliseum, the very arena where Haliburton once played.
Rehabilitation and High-Profile Summer
For the two-time NBA All-Star, the summer has been a mix of personal milestones and physical recovery. Haliburton is currently rehabilitating a torn Achilles he suffered during the 2025 NBA Finals.
Between recovery sessions, the couple has maintained a busy public schedule. They were spotted at the World Cup final and attended Michael Rubin’s annual “all-white” party. Haliburton also appeared at Fanatics Fest in New York—where he joined a live taping of LeBron James and JJ Redick’s “Mind the Game” podcast—and made a public appearance at a WWE event at Madison Square Garden.
