Starmer demands inquiry into MandelsonS Ties to jeffrey Epstein

British Prime Minister keir Starmer is demanding a thorough inquiry into the relationship between former minister Peter Mandelson and the late convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. The call for scrutiny comes amid renewed attention to Epstein’s associates and their connections to prominent figures.

Downing Street confirmed the investigation will focus on Mandelson’s time as a minister between 2008 and 2010. officials haven’t detailed the scope of the inquiry, but it’s expected to examine the nature and extent of any interactions between the two men during that period.

This isn’t the first time Mandelson’s association with Epstein has drawn criticism. He was previously removed from his position as Britain’s ambassador to the United States last year following reports of his links to Epstein, who was convicted of sex crimes. Starmer believes Mandelson shouldn’t continue to hold a seat in the House of Lords given these past associations.

“The public deserves to know the full extent of these connections,” Starmer stated. “It’s vital we understand whether any rules or ethical guidelines were breached.”

The investigation is likely to face scrutiny itself, as questions arise about the timing and motivations behind the renewed focus on Mandelson. Though,Starmer insists the inquiry is necessary to maintain public trust and accountability.
