Underscores Announces New Single “Notify Me (U Want It)” and Upcoming Album

Underscores, the project of singer-songwriter and producer April Harper Grey, has released her latest single, “Tell Me (U Want It).” The track is the third preview of Grey’s forthcoming third album, following the release of “Do It” and “Music” in 2025. From Dubstep Roots to Hyperpop Star

April Harper Grey, born April 21, 2000, in San Francisco, California, began her musical journey releasing dubstep tracks on SoundCloud at the age of 13. She has since evolved her sound, incorporating elements of hyperpop, pop-punk, and indie pop.

Wallsocket and Beyond

Grey’s previous album, Wallsocket, released in September 2023 on the Mom + Pop record label, was promoted with singles, an alternate reality game, and a North American and European tour. Since Wallsocket, she has collaborated with artists such as Oklou, Yaeji, and They die, contributing to their respective projects.
