Complainant Niyaz Abdul Shakur Rain was driving his Toyota Rumian toward Pune from Ahilyanagar when the white Baleno began a dangerous pursuit from the Ghod River bridge. The suspects forced the victim to stop near the Falakemala square by cutting off his path with their unnumbered vehicle. Once stopped, the occupants approached the Toyota Rumian and attempted to extract the ignition key.
Advocate Ujjwala Pawar, a passenger inside the targeted vehicle, intervened by warning the approaching individuals that police were coming up from behind. The suspects immediately retreated to their car, executed a u-turn, and fled back toward Ahilyanagar.
