UnityPoint Health Appoints New Leaders to Advance Oncology Strategy

Kennedy will serve as Chief medical Officer for Oncology, and MarCia Ekworomadu has been named Vice president of Operations for Oncology Services. Dr. Gregory D. Kennedy – Chief Medical Officer, Oncology
Dr. Kennedy brings extensive experience in surgical oncology and cancer program growth. He is slated to begin his new position with UnityPoint Health in February 2026.

Prior to her role at UnityPoint Health,Ekworomadu held leadership positions at the University of texas MD Anderson Cancer Center https://www.mdanderson.org/, a nationally recognized leader in cancer care.
