Van Cleef & Arpels’ “Spring Is Blooming” Transforms Rockefeller Center into a Floral Dreamscape
Recent York City’s Rockefeller Center is currently awash in color and artistry thanks to Van Cleef & Arpels’ “Spring Is Blooming” installation, returning for its second year. The immersive experience, open from April 22 through May 10, 2026, reimagines the Channel Gardens and The Rink with a whimsical, floral-inspired takeover created in collaboration with French artist Charlotte Gastaut.
A Painterly Escape in the Heart of Manhattan
Visitors to Rockefeller Center will locate themselves transported to a vibrant garden setting. A bright blue gate, adorned with illustrated cherry blossoms, trees, and flowers, marks the entrance to the installation. Within the Channel Gardens, illustrated floral displays create a faux-garden effect surrounding a pond and a green gazebo, all decorated with cherry blossoms. A greenery-laden swing, also embellished with pink flowers, offers a picturesque spot for visitors. Gastaut’s artistic touch extends to the Rockefeller Center flags, which have been replaced with illustrated floral motifs.
Artistry and Performance
Helen King, president and CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels Americas, expressed the Maison’s inspiration, stating, “The arrival of spring is a moment of profound renewal and inspiration for Van Cleef & Arpels. With Spring is Blooming, we are thrilled to once again transform Rockefeller Center into a vibrant tapestry of nature’s artistry, beautifully brought to life through the imaginative vision of Charlotte Gastaut. We take great pride in this opportunity to enchant our neighbors, visitors and friends this season.”

Throughout the installation’s run, Van Cleef & Arpels will host a series of events, including contemporary dance performances, children’s storybook and poetry readings, and live painting sessions.
Collaborations and Cultural Enrichment
The “Spring Is Blooming” installation features contributions from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the New York Academy of Art, and Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels. Dance performances will be presented by Kyle Abraham, Trisha Brown Dance Company, and Pam Tanowitz. Exclusive culinary collaborations and springtime treats are also available in the surrounding plaza, encouraging visitors to linger and enjoy the experience.

Van Cleef & Arpels’ “Spring Is Blooming” offers a unique blend of art, nature, and urban vibrancy, providing a magical experience for New Yorkers and visitors alike. The installation will remain on view until May 10, 2026.
