Defending an Early Marriage in the Public Eye
The outing follows intense media attention surrounding the couple’s marriage. Venezuela’s mother, Paris, defended her daughter’s decision to marry young. Paris noted to Metro that she herself was 17 when she got engaged.

Noah Price—a 19-year-old amateur heavyweight boxer from the traveller community—asked Tyson for permission before proposing on the dance floor at Venezuela’s sweet 16th party. Tyson confirmed he gave his blessing after sitting down with Noah to discuss the seriousness of marriage.

She will take care of domestic duties while Noah works, following the example set by her parents.
