VITW 2026 Overview and Scale
Spanning a total area of over 70,000 square meters, the Vietnam Industry and Technology Week 2026 (VITW 2026) features more than 2,000 exhibition booths, according to event organizers. The exhibition combines technology demonstrations with specialized conferences and business-matching programs. Seven distinct zones focus on industrial manufacturing, automation, clean energy, mechanical engineering, and related sectors. The event builds on the success of the 2025 installment, which drew over 70,000 visitors and recorded a total contract value of roughly 600 billion VND, according to organizers.
Industrial Goods and Automotive Innovations
A major highlight of the exhibition is the Vietnam International Industrial Goods Fair 2026 (VIIF 2026), which showcases the entire ecosystem surrounding electric vehicles, components, batteries, charging infrastructure, robots, and manufacturing software. VinFast presented its lineup of electric vehicles, while Hai Au introduced its Chenglong truck series, according to event displays. Component suppliers such as Tinh Nhue Hung Yen, Hatico, Bristar, Navicom, and FECO Vietnam exhibited mechanical products, seating systems, dashboard cameras, and exhaust purification systems. Meanwhile, Mikano and Wanxianghui displayed battery and charging infrastructure solutions.
Machinery, Automation, and Smart Manufacturing
The mechanical engineering and automation zones highlighted significant shifts toward domestic production capabilities and advanced technology integration. CNCTech and Roboworld demonstrated industrial robotic solutions, while AKC Engineering, T&T Vina, XYD Vietnam, and AIT Innovation presented precision machinery and equipment, according to event exhibits. VINIS introduced industrial software solutions, and VPlus Vietnam displayed smart household appliances. This diverse participation reflects Vietnam’s broader industrial shift toward electrification, automated processes, and enhanced local manufacturing capacity.
Hanoi MIP Fair Highlights Local Capabilities
Running alongside the main industrial fair, the Hanoi Industrial Products Exhibition 2026 (Hanoi MIP Fair 2026) covers an area of more than 9,000 square meters, organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade. The exhibition focuses on five sectors: microchips and semiconductors; information technology; electrical engineering, electronics, and refrigeration technology; mechanical engineering and automation; and healthcare, textiles, footwear, food, and beverages. Tran Duc Hai, director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, stated at the opening that the city prioritizes high-value technology industries such as semiconductors, supporting industries, and digital technology as key drivers for economic growth. The Hanoi MIP Fair 2026 aims to connect local producers with more than 500 international buyers from the European Union, Japan, South Korea, India, China, and other markets.
International Manufacturing Conference and Future Outlook
Complementing the exhibition floors, the International Manufacturing Conference 2026 (IMC 2026) brought together 60 speakers across 17 discussion panels. Sessions examined advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, automation, high-quality investment attraction, supply chain restructuring, eco-friendly production, and workforce development. Organized amidst a global manufacturing shift driven by digitalization and energy transitions, VITW 2026 runs through upcoming days to provide local enterprises with expanded avenues for technology acquisition, market expansion, and deeper integration into global supply chains.
