Virginia Beach Mobile Home Fire Displaces Six, Hospitalizes Two
Virginia Beach, VA – A fire at the Colony Mobile Home Park on Saturday evening displaced six people and hospitalized two adults, according to officials.
The Virginia Beach Fire Department (VBFD) and EMS units responded to a reported residential structure fire at the park, located on Virginia Beach Boulevard, at approximately 8:50 p.m. On February 28th . Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames emanating from a single mobile home unit.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, bringing it under control by 9:11 p.m. And completing operations by 9:22 p.m. . The fire affected three adults and three children, forcing them to evacuate their home.
Two adults were treated at the scene by EMS personnel and subsequently transported to local hospitals for further medical attention. Their current conditions are unknown . No other injuries were reported, and no pets were harmed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Officials are actively working to determine the origin and circumstances that led to the incident .
