Voidwrought Launches on Next-Gen Consoles with Physical Editions
Kwalee and Powersnake have announced the release of Voidwrought, a cosmic horror metroidvania, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 19, 2026. The game will be available digitally for $19.99. A physical edition, including a Collector’s Edition, will also be available through retailer Selecta Play.
Physical Edition Details
For collectors, both standard and Collector’s Editions will be available for pre-order starting March 20, 2026, specifically for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch platforms. The Collector’s Edition includes:

- Three character magnets
- Voidwrought themed fabric patch
- Premium metallic pin
Exploring the World of Simulacrum
Voidwrought immerses players in a world transformed by the arrival of the Red Star. Players control the Simulacrum, tasked with collecting Ichor, the essence of the gods, from various enemies. The game features customization options, allowing players to equip Relics and Souls to create unique playstyles with active abilities and passive bonuses. Players can also build their own temples to unlock new abilities, secrets, and recruit followers.
Game Features and Audio
Voidwrought offers over 70 enemy types and 11 challenging bosses. Players can utilize 50 active Relics and passive Souls, enabling a wide range of strategic combinations. The game’s score is composed by Jouni Valjakka, known for his perform on Anima: Song of the Abyss and Vigil: The Longest Night.
Voidwrought is currently available on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. The console release aims to provide an enhanced visual and performance experience for Metroidvania fans.
