Tayron Production and Global Rollout

Series production of the Volkswagen Tayron began on November 28, 2024, at the Wolfsburg plant, alongside the Golf, Tiguan, and Touran Volkswagen Newsroom. The launch was a collaborative effort involving employees from various departments within the manufacturing facility. The Tayron measures 187.8 inches (4770 millimeters) in length, 9 inches (231 millimeters) longer than the standard Tiguan. Its wheelbase has been extended by 4.5 inches (114 millimeters) to 109.8 inches (2791 millimeters) to accommodate the third row Motor1. It is 72.9 inches (1852 millimeters) wide and 65.3 inches (1660 millimeters) tall.

U.S. Market Implications
