Weezer Announces Fall 2026 “The Gathering” Tour with The Shins and Silversun Pickups

Weezer has announced a 32-date North American arena tour, dubbed “Weezer: The Gathering,” set to take place in fall 2026. The Shins and Silversun Pickups will join Weezer as support for all dates on the tour.

Tour Dates and Locations

The tour kicks off on September 8th in Sacramento, California, and concludes on October 24th in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles, California. Key cities on the itinerary include San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, and Atlanta.

Ticket Information

Tickets for “Weezer: The Gathering” proceed on sale with an artist pre-sale beginning on Tuesday, March 31st at 10:00 a.m. Local time. Access is available to members of Weezer’s official fan club here. Verizon and Citi customers will too have access to pre-sales on March 31st. The general public sale begins on Friday, April 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Local time via Ticketmaster.

New Music and “The Initiation”

Alongside the tour announcement, Weezer will release a new single, “Shine Again,” on April 1st. This release will be the band’s first on their new label, Reprise/Warner Records, and a preview of their upcoming, currently untitled, album. To celebrate the tour, Weezer is hosting “The Initiation,” a series of events in Los Angeles next week, including a Weezer-themed trivia night and a pickleball tournament against the band themselves.

Recent Activity

Weezer’s previous North American tour was the “Voyage to the Blue Planet” run, commemorating the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album. Their most recent album release was 2021’s Van Weezer, followed by the four-part EP series SZNZ in 2022. The band has also recently focused on vinyl releases, including a 6xLP vinyl box set of their “color” albums and a collection of early demos and rarities, 1192, for Record Store Day 2026.
