Boat Fire Reported at Nordfjordeid Marina, No Injuries

The fire brigade arrived on the scene to find no open flames, but a significant amount of smoke coming from the vessel.
According to Steinar Hausvik, operations manager at the West police district, two individuals were present – one on board the boat and another who arrived shortly after the initial report. Both individuals were assessed by on-site medical personnel for potential smoke inhalation and were fortunately unharmed.
The boat, a 35-foot vessel, was docked at the marina at the time of the incident. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the smoke and are currently treating the event as a case requiring further inquiry.
