Hiromu Takahashi is expected to join the WWE ecosystem following his departure from New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). Reports from Fightful Select indicate that Takahashi is likely to be paired with Naraku—the persona previously known as EVIL in NJPW—as part of the NXT roster.

To facilitate this transition, WWE has reportedly trademarked the name Nox Raijin, which sources suggest will be the ring name used by Takahashi. Rumors regarding Takahashi’s move to the United States have circulated since May, aligning with WWE’s broader strategy of integrating high-profile international talent into the NXT developmental system.

Richard Holliday’s Potential WWE Contract

Richard Holliday, 33, is another primary target for WWE recruitment. According to Fightful Select, Holliday may have already signed a deal or is close to completing one. The former Major League Wrestling (MLW) performer has a history of tryouts with WWE, signaling a long-term interest from the company in his character work and in-ring ability.

Holliday gained prominence in MLW as a member of The Dynasty, a faction that included MJF and Alex Hammerstone. His recent trajectory includes two 2024 appearances for All Elite Wrestling (AEW): a tag team match alongside Alec Price against LFI and a dark match against Serpentico.
