Xiaomi Unveils 17 Series, Smartwatch, and Tracker at MWC 2026

Barcelona – Xiaomi kicked off Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 with the global launch of its Xiaomi 17 series, alongside a new Wear OS smartwatch and its first tracker for Android Find Hub. The Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra, initially released in China last year, are among the first Android flagships powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra Pricing and Availability

The Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be available in most of Europe, starting at €999 and €1,499, respectively.

Xiaomi 17: Specifications

The base Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 6,330 mAh battery.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra: Camera Innovations

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is positioned as the flagship camera phone, boasting several upgrades. Key features include Xiaomi’s first 1-inch LOFIC main camera sensor, utilizing a Light Fusion 1050L image sensor with capacitor technology for improved HDR performance. A notable addition is the Leica 200MP 75–100mm camera, featuring a mechanical optical zoom.

The Ultra’s camera system comprises a 50MP main sensor, a 200MP telephoto lens, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP front-facing camera. It also includes a 6.9-inch display, up to 1TB of storage, and a 6,000 mAh battery supporting up to 90W charging.

Xiaomi Pad 8 Series

The new Xiaomi Pad 8 series offers an 11.2-inch display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and a 9,200 mAh battery, all within a 5.75mm design. It starts at €449.99.

Xiaomi Tag: Android’s Answer to AirTag

Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Tag, its first tracker compatible with the Android Find Hub network, and also works with Apple’s Find My network. It is priced at €14.99.

Xiaomi Watch 5: Wear OS Powered Smartwatch

The Xiaomi Watch 5 is powered by Wear OS 6 and features a 930 mAh silicon-carbon battery and the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor. It introduces wrist gestures for call dismissal, alarm silencing, workout launching, camera control, and access to Google apps like Gemini, Wallet, and YouTube Music. The Xiaomi Watch 5 starts at €299.99.

Additional Launches

Rounding out the announcements are the REDMI Buds 8 Pro, a new 15W 5,000 mAh ultra-thin magnetic power bank, and a new series of electric scooters.
