Im’s agency echoed this sentiment, noting that the two had been in a serious relationship for years before mutually deciding to focus on their respective careers.

Origins on the Set of Memorist
Yoo Seung-ho and Im Se-ju first met while working on the 2020 tvN drama Memorist.
In the series, Yoo starred as the lead character Dong-baek, a detective with psychometric abilities. Im played the role of Lee Seul-bi, a member of the special investigation support team. Their professional association on set reportedly evolved into a romantic relationship following the conclusion of the drama.
