The competition between Yorkshire Glory and Aisling Oscar was fierce, with only five points separating them before the final race. Yorkshire Glory ultimately prevailed, winning by a length and finishing the campaign with 293 points, 12 ahead of his rival.1
Consistent Performance Throughout the Season
Trained by Ben Haslam and representing the Blue Lion Racing syndicate, Yorkshire Glory demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the season, achieving eight wins, two second-place finishes, three third-place finishes, and one fourth-place finish in 14 appearances.12
Additional Earnings and Recognition
In addition to the £100,000 Horse of the Year prize, Yorkshire Glory is currently tied with Goldmoyne for the March & April Horse of the Month competition, with a potential share of £40,000.1

Aisling Oscar, the runner-up, received a bonus of £75,000, in addition to the £20,000 he previously won in December.1 Trainer Adrian Keatley noted that Aisling Oscar “flew home, having been a bit slowly away,” and expressed satisfaction with the horse’s performance, especially considering his purchase price of 3,200 guineas.12
