- Nevena Staneva lived with lama Ivo for many years
“You are the light. Be free!” This is how their close friend Nevena Staneva said goodbye to the six victims from Petrohan and Okolchitsa. Her name appeared in a published DANS reference as the only woman in Ivaylo Kalushev‘s group.
According to witness statements and documents, Nevena lived with Kalushev and his right-hand man Deyan Iliev years ago in the village of Kraevo, and then she traveled with the group of the guru and his students in Mexico, reported “Bulgaria Today”.
“I love you, Ivo, Niki, ****, Plamen, Decho, Ivey,” wrote Nevena, hiding the name of 15-year-old Alexander Makulev.
