A Cradle of Beauty Education Teachers
WiseU Youngsan University has become known as the “cradle of beauty education teachers in Korea,” with a growing number of doctoral graduates securing professorships at major domestic universities. Currently, the total number of full-time and visiting professors produced by Youngsan University’s Department of Beauty Arts and Graduate School of Beauty Arts amounts to 27.

Recent appointments include Professor Mi-seon Lee (12th doctoral class) of the Department of Beauty Design at Sunlin University, Professor Ju-yeon Hong (16th doctoral class) of the Department of Beauty Coordination at Daegu Health College, and Professor Mi-kyung Kim (14th doctoral class) of the Department of Beauty and Health Management at Youngsan University.
Innovative Educational Approach
Youngsan University distinguishes itself through its professional and systematic education system. As the first four-year beauty college in the Yeongnam region, it pioneered the ‘digital beauty education system,’ integrating digital and beauty technology into its curriculum. The curriculum is structured around four core areas: ‘Hair Design’, ‘Skin Care’, ‘Makeup’, and ‘Nail,’ ensuring students are well-prepared for the rapidly evolving beauty industry. The university too emphasizes foreign language education and provides advanced practical training, such as special makeup techniques from the United States.
The Korean Beauty Art Invitational Artist Exhibition
A cornerstone of Youngsan University’s program is the annual ‘Korean Beauty Art Invitational Artist Exhibition,’ held every November.
