This is how Volodymyr Zelensky answered a question about the concessions that Kiev can make under US pressure.

“There are some signals from the American sideby President Trump. They say: “The time has come for compromises. You can take some steps forward”. We made a lot of compromises. However, Putin and his friends are not in jail. This is the biggest compromise the world has already agreed to,” Zelensky answered.
He explained that under US pressure, Kiev agreed to a truce without any preconditions, but Russia rejected this offer.
On Friday, Donald Trump said that Russia wants to make a deal to end the war, and Zelensky should also show such a desire.

“I think Putin is also in a difficult position. I can talk to you, shake your hands. And I’m not afraid. And I want to be a free man. And I want to change after politics, after everything.
