Celebrity Bakers Join Forces for Minnesota Restaurant Recovery Bake Sale

The Salt Cure Restaurant Recovery Fund was established to provide financial assistance to Minnesota restaurants struggling with the impacts of recent economic challenges, including reduced traffic and staffing concerns. According to Stephanie March, co-founder of the Salt Cure Fund, the need is significant. While the fund has already raised over $1 million, applications for grants have exceeded $4 million, and time is of the essence for many restaurant owners facing potential eviction.

Zoe Francois, a baker, cookbook author, and TV host, is spearheading the bake sale effort. She emphasized the importance of supporting the restaurant industry, stating it was instrumental in her own career beginnings. The MN Bars Bake Sale will feature a wide variety of bars, with celebrity bakers contributing special “star bars.”
