Who Participated in the Event?

The final round of the competition featured five teams representing companies in Ca Mau, including Minh Phu Seafood Group and local production units. Over 25 participants competed, with representatives from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI-HCM), Oxfam Vietnam, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, and local labor unions also in attendance.

“The event provided a platform for workers to showcase their understanding of safety practices and practical solutions to improve workplace conditions,” said Huynh Anh Thu, a member of the 5S Shrimp team. “It strengthened our awareness of protecting ourselves and our colleagues.”

The 5S Shrimp team won first place in the final round, presenting a solution to enhance compliance with safety regulations in production. The Zero Accidents team’s performance emphasized the importance of hygiene and safety protocols through a short theatrical skit. The competition included online rounds and a live final, with over 20 individuals receiving commendations for their performance in the initial stages.

“Many of the submissions were well-prepared, closely aligned with production processes, and reflected a strong sense of responsibility and initiative among workers,” noted the jury. Participants also engaged in a Q&A session with the audience, addressing topics related to workplace safety and hygiene.
