2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Second Round Schedule Announced

U.S. Soccer has revealed the schedule for the 16 matches comprising the Second Round of the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. These contests, set to take place between March 31st and April 1st, will all be streamed live on Paramount+.

Second Round Matchups

The Second Round features the 32 clubs that successfully navigated the First Round, which consisted entirely of professional versus amateur team matchups. Pairings were determined geographically, with additional selections made randomly. Host teams were also chosen at random.

Looking Ahead

The 16 teams emerging victorious from the Second Round will join the 16 MLS clubs participating in this year’s tournament in the Round of 32. The draw for both the Round of 32 and Round of 16, determining matchups and host locations, is scheduled for April 2nd at 9 a.m. ET and will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Golazo Network’s “Morning Footy.” The Quarterfinal draw will follow the Round of 16.
